Etosha National Park

Big game gathered around shimmering waterholes

One of Africa's great wildlife reserves, built around a vast salt pan and floodlit waterholes that draw elephant, lion, rhino and more.

Etosha is unlike any other safari destination. In the dry season, game congregates around waterholes against the blinding white backdrop of the pan, making sightings extraordinary. Black and white rhino, lion, elephant, giraffe and huge herds of springbok and zebra are regular visitors.

Several camps have floodlit waterholes where you can watch the nocturnal parade from your seat.
